I made this print to remember a special moment in time, I had no camera with me that day but the image of this Little Dipper parent working tirelessly to feed their chicks was still so clear in my mind. I was so fascinated by the fact the nest was actually build into the waterfall, with water cascading down in front of it. It seems like a great tactic for avoiding predators, but how did those little dips stay warm and dry?
They are most easy to spot beside a rivers and streams bobbing up and down on the spot like they are dancing to a wee song in their head!
Each print is pressed by hand and printed onto  Shiramine Select Awagami Paper using Caligo safe wash ink.
